joy in casting all our cares upon Him

Standing at my sorting counter hour after hour gives me lots of opportunity to think, pray, and yes, worry. So usually what I do when that happens is remember the sweet words of this chorus:

I cast all my cares upon you.
I lay all of my burdens down at your feet.
Anytime I don't know what I'm to do
I just cast all my cares upon you.

So that is what I offer to you this morning - the same words I sing to myself. Of course they are so simple, but they are so true, and they are the ONLY WAY to deal with our stuff, your stuff, anyone's stuff. Bring it in prayer to Him, and try to let it go, again and again.

Simple, yes. But that is EXACTLY what I needed to hear this morning. I have a LOT of cares right now and that song will be running through my heart all day.

Me too, Meg, thank you for this gift to take into my day. The tune is in my head, and the sweet words in my heart.

"Anytime don't know what I'm to do I just cast all my cares upon you."

Hey ! This got onto your blog by mistake!!I thought I had cancelled it and just put it on my own personal blog. But I am so glad it blessed you all anyway. I didn't want to butt into a day that isn't one for me, but since I did, by accident, and it was good, then I guess it's okay!!

It was an unexpected surprise! And there are no accidents with God, are there?
