What an inspiring woman -- and I'll bet if anyone had told her that, she'd have blushed and looked behind her to see who they were talking to.

You've paid a beautiful tribute to her by sharing her influence with us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30458926.post-52694618637112177992009-08-28T09:29:56.508-04:002009-08-28T09:29:56.508-04:00This is a beautiful memorial to a woman you knew a...This is a beautiful memorial to a woman you knew and cared about. Sorry, this story warranted an excalamation mark AND capitals (sorry, there I go again.)

I am so very happy and grateful that you honoured this great woman. Through your story you brought richness to my day and gave your family a treasured piece of inheritance to cherish. It will now not be lost.

I can't wait to hear more in your series, but I enjoyed this story so very much. I kept scrolling down to discover what happened next. WHAT a rich inheritance Aunt Edith left and now you've generously shared it with others! I feel richer for having read it.

You know, writing at times (my own) seems like such a purposeless activity and then I read something like this and am reminded of the potential value. This story is such an encouragement to me today to keep pressing on. I think it's in my nature to do that anyway, but that doesn't mean I don't need encouragement in it.Marilynhttp://www.asgoodadayasany.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30458926.post-78579490584223824152009-08-28T07:21:24.757-04:002009-08-28T07:21:24.757-04:00Well, I managed to fall in love with Aunt Edith .....Well, I managed to fall in love with Aunt Edith ... what an amazing woman, she lived refusing, always, to be a victim.Dave Hingsburgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11918601687946534172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30458926.post-77717527873510696992009-08-28T02:21:58.341-04:002009-08-28T02:21:58.341-04:00And what a precious story I would have missed.
